Field Trip – April 21st, 2012 – Trip to visit the Bing. Uni. Nature Preserve – Trip left from Kmart Plaza in Sayre PA promptly at 8am. Victor met the field trippers at Parking Lot M at 8:30am and took us all on a splendid walk through the preserve.  Birds seen were swamp sparrows, swallows, broad winged hawk, ruby-crowned kinglet, and a great blue heron. Turtles, a cute swimming salamander, and many flowers were also noted.  A bald eagle was spotted near the 17W rest stop outside of Owego.
